Mental Health Assistance
Clinical Counseling Services and treatments that include evidence-based practices (EBP) for diagnosed conditions or co-occurring conditions including but not limited to:

Trauma and stress related disorders

anxiety disorders

mood disorders

suicide ideation and behaviors

substance use disorders
-
concerns related to identity

adjustment disorders

marriage/ family/ relationship concerns

case management

skills training

Peer Services
-
Provide direct peer-to-peer services to trauma- affected individuals
-
Train peer volunteers and communities at-large on the issues and impacts of military-related traumas
-
Assist SMVF to identify and access appropriate, culturally competent mental health services, including access to licensed mental health professionals (LMHPs) and supportive services within their service coverage area
-
Make referrals to community-based resources, programs, and activities, which provide health-focused supportive services
-
Provide peer-to-peer services to justice- involved veterans (JIV)
