What is Respite?
Respite provides adolescents ages 13–17 with a short period of rest and support to help manage mental health challenges and life stressors. This voluntary program offers a safe, calming, homelike environment designed to minimize trauma and provide temporary separation from stressors.
The Youth Respite House is available at no cost, though some clinical services may be billed to insurance or offered on a sliding fee scale if applicable. Open 24/7 year-round, the program ensures continuity by making school activities available when needed, giving youth an opportunity to recharge and regain stability.
